Preface This month's Session is going to deal with finishing up the texture pattern we created from scratch, in last month's Session. The following is a brief review of Session 8. Review: In the last steps of last month's Session, we created a texture pattern using one of Photoshop 4's native filters: patchwork. This filter can be found in the "Filter" menu and under the "Texture" sub-menu. After applying the Patchwork filter in the last step of Session 8, you should have ended up with a seamless tile that was 128x128 pixels in size. You should have then saved that texture pattern document as a Photoshop .PSD file (without flattening it), as well as saving a copy of that texture image as a Gif or Jpg, and naming it "Coloured Tiles". If you have completed the previous Session up to this point, then you are ready to begin the 2nd half of Session 8 - "Xtreme Textures". Also: if you feel the need to print this material out you have my express permission to do so. But please do not redistribute it ok. Thanks Much. With all that said, I hope you enjoy this session! |
Ok that ends the review. Click here to begin part 2 of Xtreme Textures... |
