Internet Buttons
This
tutorial should show you how to make good Buttons with simple
effects. This Idea I have got while I was creating buttons for an
friend of mine. Here they are ;)

First we create an new
Document with Background of the Homepage you want to use the
buttons for. In my Example I have used black
background!

On a new layer we draw an
elipse (with the selection tool) and fill it with any
color.

Now we make an new layer
again. On this layer we create the structure of the button. I
have simply used an gradient, have added noise and made an
gaussian blur with radius 4.
This
Effect is easy and quick done! But it looks nice ... or
not?

This layer we have to group
now (Cntr G). Out elipse has the structur of this layer now.
Now we rotate the elipse 5-6°. After this we you the Emboss
from the layereffects.

The Button is ready now ;)
Next step -> we create some font on it! I used Button 1 in
white color and stroke it with black.
Looks
pretty nice, or not? But ... because many persons in the net
like onmouseover buttons we save this button and manipulate it
something for the onmouseover effect.

We just add an layer effect
to the button layer. We use the layer with the button and use
'Outerglow' out of the layereffects. Color red, Blur 15 and
Intensity 40. (You can play with the values!)
The
pressed buttons should looks like this:
